Prussian & Austrian army uniforms in 1742-1770

This illustrated uniforms’ book belonged to the general and writer Ferdinand Friedrich von Nicolai with the name of  “Uniforme des trouppe” and is now preserved in the Württembergische Landesbibliothek Stuttgart. The author is not better known. It show mainly the uniforms and accoutrements of Prussian and Austrian army in the second part of XVIII century. So, infantry, cavalry, artillery and other coprs are well present in his color plates. There is also some plates related the Saxon uniforms.
