The Italian soldiers of Napoleonic era

The tables published in this portfolio derive from an imporatant work of Italian artist Guglielmo Aimaretti on the Italian uniform of XVIII century, Napoleonic era and XIX century.
The army of this kingdom, an important allied of French Empire, was inserted in the Grand Armeé and took part at all the most important napoleonic campaigns. For 17 years the Italian Republic before and the Kingdom after are enlisted in his Army over 200.000 men and lost about 125.000 in all the wars.
